Official Contest Rules & Terms and Conditions

Contest Period: April 8, 2026 – May 4, 2026

1. CONTEST SPONSOR

This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Radventures Canada (“Sponsor”). For Contest inquiries, contact: marketing@radventurescanada.com.

2. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest opens at 12:00:01 AM Mountain Time (MT) on April 8, 2026, and closes at 11:59:59 PM MT on May 4, 2026 (the “Contest Period”). Entries received outside this window will not be considered. The Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for this Contest.

3. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and Australia who meet all of the following criteria at the time of entry:

  • Are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their province, state, or country of residence, whichever is greater);
  • Have a valid email address;
  • Follow the official Radventures Canada Instagram account (@radventurescanada) at the time of entry and at the time of the prize draw; and
  • Comply with all applicable laws in their province, state, or country of residence regarding participation in contests of this nature. It is the entrant’s sole responsibility to determine whether participation is lawful in their jurisdiction.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees, contractors, directors, and officers of Radventures Canada and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or household members;
  • Any person involved in the administration, promotion, or judging of this Contest;
  • Residents of the Province of Quebec, or any jurisdiction not listed as an eligible country in Section 3, including but not limited to any country, province, state, or territory where this Contest is prohibited or restricted by law.

Why Quebec is excluded: Contests open to Quebec residents are subject to the Act Respecting Lotteries, Publicity Contests and Amusement Machines (Quebec), which requires registration with the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ) and payment of a duty where the total prize value exceeds $2,000 CAD. This Contest’s prize value exceeds that threshold. Quebec residents are therefore excluded. The entry form should include a validation check to prevent Quebec residents from entering.

4. HOW TO ENTER

There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. Purchase does not improve the chances of winning.

Primary Entry Method
During the Contest Period, visit https://www.radventurescanada.com/rockies-giveaway, complete the entry form with your first name, email address, and Instagram handle (optional), and submit. One (1) entry per person is permitted via the primary method.

Bonus Entry Methods (Optional)
After completing the primary entry, participants may earn additional entries by completing the following optional actions. Each action earns one (1) additional entry:

  • Tag a friend in the comments of the official Contest post on the Radventures Canada Instagram page (@radventurescanada). Limit one (1) bonus entry per person for this action. Each tagged person must be a genuine individual with their own Instagram account.
  • Share the official Contest post to your Instagram Story (public accounts only) and tag @radventurescanada. Limit one (1) bonus entry per person for this action.

Maximum entries per person: 13 (including primary entry and all bonus entries). The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants found submitting duplicate, fraudulent, or automated entries.

Entries submitted via automated programs, bots, scripts, or any other mechanical or electronic means are void. Mass entries and entries that do not comply with these Rules will be disqualified.

5. PRIZE

Prize Description
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded, consisting of:

  • One (1) Radventures Canada “Best of the Canadian Rockies” guided multi-day trip for two (2) people in a shared room (trip itinerary, dates, and specific inclusions to be confirmed with the winner);
  • Return economy-class flights for two (2) people from the winner’s nearest major international airport to Calgary International Airport (YYC). Airline, routing, and booking to be arranged by the winner and expensed to the sponsor. Flight upgrades are not included;
  • Return airport transfers for two (2) people between Calgary International Airport (YYC) and the trip start point;
  • Pre- and post-trip hotel accommodation for two (2) people in one (1) room for one (1) night prior and one (1) night post their Radventures multi-day trip in a Superior Hotel Room (2 Queen Beds), or a Superior King Suite (One King Bed);
  • $100 Dining credit to be used at Sudden Sally, including Downtown Sally.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is $6,620 CAD. Actual value may vary depending on point of origin for flights, dates of travel, and final hotel selection. No cash equivalent or substitution will be provided except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Prize Conditions:

  • Travel must be completed by October 31, 2027, subject to availability and mutual agreement with the Sponsor;
  • Travel dates are subject to Radventures Canada trip availability and must be confirmed within 30 days of the winner being notified;
  • The winner and their guest must both hold valid passports and any visas, travel authorisations, or documentation required to travel to Canada. The Sponsor is not responsible for obtaining travel documents on behalf of the winner or guest;
  • The winner and guest travel together on the same itinerary;
  • Pre- and post-trip accommodations: Should the selected room type be unavailable, Banff Lodging Co reserves the right to substitute a comparable room type or accommodation at a similar property of equal or greater value. These hotel nights cannot be redeemed on Friday & Saturday nights;
  • Prize cannot be redeemed on blackout dates: August 1–30, 2026 or September 1–30, 2026;
  • All expenses not explicitly listed above are the sole responsibility of the winner, including but not limited to: travel insurance, meals not included in the trip itinerary, personal spending, gratuities, visa fees, and excess baggage;
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended and is the winner’s responsibility to obtain;
  • The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Sponsor’s control.

6. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION

One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will take place on or around May 5, 2026, in Banff, AB under the supervision of the Sponsor.

The potential winner will be notified by email (using the address provided at entry) and/or direct message on Instagram within 3 business days of the draw. The winner must respond within 5 business days to claim the prize. Failure to respond will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner will be selected.

As a condition of receiving the prize, the winner may be required to sign and return a Declaration of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 5 business days of being notified, provide proof of identity and age, and provide a valid mailing address.

7. ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

8. PUBLICITY & CONSENT

By entering this Contest, participants agree that the Sponsor may use their name, Instagram handle, city of residence, likeness, and/or Contest entry for promotional, advertising, and marketing purposes — including on social media and the Sponsor’s website — without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

The winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the Contest and the prize, including but not limited to a winner announcement post on social media and trip photography sharing, subject to prior approval by the winner.

9. PRIVACY & DATA COLLECTION

Personal information collected through this Contest will be used by Radventures Canada to administer the Contest, notify the winner, and — with the entrant’s consent — send marketing communications about Radventures Canada trips and offers.

By entering, participants consent to receiving email communications from Radventures Canada. Participants may unsubscribe at any time. Radventures Canada will handle all personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA).

10. SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM RELEASE

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram or Facebook). By participating, entrants release Meta Platforms, Inc. from any and all liability arising from participation in this Contest. Any questions or comments regarding this Contest should be directed to Radventures Canada, not to Meta or Instagram.

11. GENERAL CONDITIONS

  • The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Contest at any time for any reason, including if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s control affects the integrity of the Contest.
  • The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries; technical failures; errors in entry forms; or any injury or damage resulting from participation in this Contest or the use of any prize.
  • Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest.
  • Taxes on the prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • The Contest is void where prohibited by law.
  • If any provision of these Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12. GOVERNING LAW

This Contest is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. By entering, participants agree that any disputes arising from this Contest shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, to the extent permitted by applicable law in their jurisdiction.
