Important Information & FAQs:
Weather: This adventure runs rain, snow or shine! Only under extreme weather conditions will there be cancellations, with full refunds or rescheduling options.
Ensure you’re dressed for mountain weather. The early morning right before sunrise is often the coldest part of the day, so layers are recommended.
Our number 1 local tip: Don’t trust the weather forecast or be afraid of the rain! Mountain weather is super unpredictable, but fortunately even when it doesn’t cooperate as we’d like, these conditions often produce the most stunning sunrises and even less crowds. Personally, we look forward to a chance of rain on the forecast!
Accessibility: While fitness levels for this tour are generally adaptable, participants should be prepared for light walking to make the most of this adventure.

Will I have enough time to hike to the teahouse at Lake Louise?
If you want to return to Banff with the tour group, it’s highly unlikely you’ll have time to reach any of the teahouses at Lake Louise. A popular option for guests on this tour is to join us for the exclusive sunrise experience at Moraine Lake, then “depart” the tour at Lake Louise and use the local Roam bus to return to Banff at your convenience. Getting to the lakes in the morning is the hardest part, as bus and shuttle seats sell out well in advance, but returning later in the morning/afternoon is much easier.
