Arrive in Calgary and begin your journey with a scenic 90-minute transfer to Banff, where the adventure kicks off. Choose a private transfer or book a bus ticket, and settle into your comfortable hotel nestled in the heart of this iconic mountain town.

Banff is the vibrant heart of Banff National Park—the oldest national park in Canada and third oldest in the world. With complimentary Banff Roam bus passes, you have the freedom to explore the town and surrounding wonders at your own pace.

Head up to the Mt. Norquay lookout for stunning panoramic views, visit the picturesque Bow Falls, scout for wildlife, or simply enjoy the charm of Banff’s downtown.

Just a short stroll from your hotel, you’ll find endless shopping, fantastic restaurants, and cozy breweries and bars.

After a day of exploring, join your guide and fellow travelers for a group dinner at one of Banff’s best local spots. Afterward, continue the night with new friends or unwind back at the hotel, where you can relax in the indoor pool and hot tub—your home base for the next five nights.

Over the next four days, prepare to dive into the best of the Rockies as we hit the slopes at Sunshine Village and Lake Louise, choosing the ideal resort each day based on the freshest snow and perfect conditions. With your expert local guide leading the way, you’ll discover hidden powder stashes, scenic runs, and the top spots for on-mountain dining, allowing you to skip the guesswork and dive straight into the best lines.

Each day, you’ll have the flexibility to explore at your own pace—whether carving through groomers, hitting world-class snow parks, or tackling steeper terrain with new friends. Evenings are yours to soak up the après-ski vibes in Banff. Options include an exclusive VIP shopping experience at a local ski and board shop, a hockey game for a true taste of Canadian culture, and unwinding in the hotel’s hot tub and indoor pool.

Outside of the slopes, you’ll experience the magic of Lake Louise, where you can skate on the frozen lake, snowshoe through serene trails, or relax at the legendary Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. For your final night, celebrate with a local hockey game to wrap up the perfect day. With the flexibility to chase the best conditions each morning, every moment of your Rockies adventure is designed to be unforgettable.

Take a break from the slopes and enjoy a scenic journey through Kootenay National Park on your way to Invermere. Along the route, we’ll make stops at a few favorite viewpoints, letting you soak in the stunning landscapes of this beautiful national park.

Once in Invermere, the afternoon is yours to explore. Wander through the charming town, lace up for an ice-skate on the world’s longest skating trail, or simply relax and enjoy some free time. As evening falls, we’ll head to Radium Hot Springs to unwind in the soothing mineral-rich waters—a perfect way to rejuvenate before another exciting day on the slopes at Panorama Mountain Resort.

For dinner, join your hosts at a favorite local spot, where you’ll get to try a unique twist on the classic chicken parmigiana, featuring a marinara sauce that’s hard to beat. Tonight, we’ll stay at the cozy Kanata Inns.

After a relaxing day off, it’s time to dive back into the action at Panorama Mountain Resort. Your local guide, who knows these slopes like the back of their hand, will start the day with an orientation, showing you the best lines, hidden powder spots, and top places to make the most of your time on this epic mountain.

Over the next two days, you’ll have the chance to ramp up the adventure with options like cat-skiing or snowmobiling. Panorama’s Monster X Snowcats—Jekyll and Hyde—provide access to incredible big mountain terrain that’s perfect for endless laps. If you’re craving a different kind of thrill, just across from the resort lies one of the Rockies’ best snowmobile operators, offering both half-day and full-day tours. For the ultimate experience, we recommend the full-day option, which includes an afternoon freeride session in a vast alpine bowl.

Evenings in Invermere are open to whatever suits your mood. Take another dip in the soothing waters of Radium Hot Springs, grab a drink at a local brewery, or enjoy dinner at one of the town’s cozy restaurants. Your guide will have plenty of recommendations to match your vibe as you unwind from the day’s adventure. And with another travel day on the horizon, this is the perfect time to relax, recharge, and savor your time in the Rockies.

Day 9 is a well-deserved rest and travel day, perfect for recharging while taking in some of the most breathtaking sights the Rockies have to offer. Journey north through the scenic Columbia Valley, then venture into the stunning Glacier National Park—an awe-inspiring destination often mistaken for its U.S. counterpart.

As you cross Rogers Pass, you’ll pass through impressive avalanche tunnels designed to protect the highway from the region’s heavy snowfall.

By afternoon, you’ll arrive in the lively mountain town of Revelstoke, fondly known for its #feelthestoke vibe. This adventure hotspot thrives year-round and offers winter activities like dog sledding, backcountry skiing, heli-skiing, and more.

Settle in at a cozy, centrally located 3-star hotel, just a short stroll from the best taco joint in town, and prepare to explore Revelstoke’s charming atmosphere and outdoor spirit.

After days of incredible skiing and snowboarding across Canada’s best resorts, everything culminates here at Revelstoke. With record-breaking snowfall and North America’s longest vertical drop, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is the pinnacle of our journey, offering powder-filled runs and vast, challenging terrain. Each morning, your local guide will lead you to the mountain’s best-kept secrets, ensuring you make the most of this ultimate ski experience.

After an exhilarating first day, unwind in a nearby hot spring, refreshing your legs for the grand finale. Day two is all about savoring the moment—whether you’re carving through expansive alpine bowls, gliding through perfectly spaced glades, or signing up for a thrilling cat-skiing session. With all the skiing and riding you’ve done so far building up to this, we’ll celebrate the adventure of a lifetime as we toast to an unforgettable journey in the Rockies.

On the final day of our journey, we’ll depart Revelstoke in the morning and make our way back to Banff, traveling through four stunning national parks—a fitting grand finale to an unforgettable road trip. Arriving in Banff around midday, it’s time to officially conclude the tour, bid farewell to new friends, and perhaps start planning your next ski adventure together.

FAQs

Wherever possible, our Rad Women journeys are led by inspiring female guides. In some destinations, where a female guide may not be available, you’ll still be escorted by expert local leaders who share our values of creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for women travellers.

For the Mountain Collector trip we recommend being at least an intermediate skiier or snowboarder. Each mountain has a wide variety of terrain but you are going to get the most our of the trip riding with the guides if you are at least at an intermediate skiier/snowboarder.

Different tours/trips have varying physical demands, but our most adventurous are designed to be enjoyed by anyone who is reasonably fit. When selecting your tour please make sure you have read through the itinerary and itinerary carefully to assess your ability and to cope with our style of travel. Some trips visit remote areas with limited or non-existent medical facilities so you must be in good health. Factors such as altitude, cold temperatures, delays, unfamiliar food and different customs and cultures can also add to the physical toll. Keep in mind you will sometimes need to carry your own bags. Please note that if, in an extremely unlikely case, in the opinion of our guide, any guest is unable to complete the itinerary without undue risk to themselves and/or the rest of the group, Radventures reserves the right to exclude them from all or part of a trip without refund. You should consult your doctor for up-to-date medical travel information or for any necessary vaccinations before departure. We recommend that you carry a first aid kit as well as any personal medical requirements (including a spare pair of glasses) as they may not easily be obtained at the locations on this trip. For legal reasons our guides are prohibited from administering any type of drugs including headache tablets and antibiotics. Please ensure that you are adequately prepared.

No, you don’t. We would recommend renting equipment from Banff at the start of your trip and bringing it with you throughout the tour, rather than worrying about renting it at each resort. There are a variety of rental options in Banff and we would be glad to provide you with more information.

Your deposit is refundable for 24 hours after booking. After that, there is a $100 per person transfer fee that applies to changes you want to make to your tour (ie. to change the tour date or to choose a different tour). Transfers are possible until the final payment deadline, unless otherwise specified. Of course, if Radventures cannot confirm your tour by the final payment deadline, your deposit can be refunded or transferred to another tour free of charge.

Of course! There is a $100 per person transfer fee that applies. Transfers are possible until the final payment deadline, unless otherwise specified.

Radventures lives for those who want to escape the ordinary. Those who want to steer clear of the tourist traps and queues of cashed up pensioners. Those who are nomadic by nature and desire deep, authentic and local connections to make their trip as much about the journey as the destination. If that sounds like you, then you’re just like us, and between our relentless efforts to blow your expectations out of the water and our super knowledgable team, we’re your travel experts!

Travel insurance is mandatory, and winter sports coverage is highly encouraged.

We would also recommend an “All Inclusive” policy that covers you for both medical expenses as well as any trip cancellation or interruptions.

At Radventures we pride ourselves on our flexibility. If you wan’t to enjoy more of this beautiful country before and after your time with us, we’d be more than happy to make any arrangements for you. As for being partly involved in a tour, whilst we can’t make any guarantees about whats possible or not, it’s best that you get in touch with us when you’re considering booking a tour or trip with us and let us know how you want things to work so we can see if we can make it work.

This is a tricky one. We don’t know when other people will book, so it’s hard to know if and when the tour will fill up. Our advice is to book as soon as you’ve made the decision to travel, that way you won’t be disappointed. Most of our service providers have a cutoff date of 2-3 months before departure that we need to advise them to release any excess space, and while we may be able to get these services back after the cutoff date it’s definitely safer to book early while we can still guarantee enough space for you.

You’re in great company! We have two options for solo travellers on our tours – you can join our share program to be matched with another rad solo traveller (of the same sex), or you can purchase the single supplement to have your own private room.
