How physically demanding is this tour?
This experience involves some light walking on uneven surfaces, so a reasonable level of mobility is recommended.
Is this tour a good fit for seniors or guests with limited mobility?
Yes. Because it’s just your group, your guide sets the pace around you: shorter walks, more time at viewpoints near the vehicle, and extra breaks whenever you need them. There’s no upper age limit. Our vehicles aren’t wheelchair accessible, so if you use a mobility aid, contact us before booking and we’ll plan what works.
What if the weather is bad?
Here’s the thing: the Rockies are spectacular in all conditions. We happily run in rain, cloud, and overcast skies, and honestly some of the most striking scenery comes on those moody days when the mist rolls through the peaks and the lakes turn moody and dramatic. The only time we ever cancel is if conditions become genuinely unsafe, which is rare. If that does happen, we’ll let you know as early as we can and always make it right with a full refund or a reschedule. Either way, just pack a light waterproof layer and you’ll be comfortable whatever the day brings.
Can I hike to the Lake Louise teahouse during this tour?
Because the day is so wonderfully full, there isn’t time built in for the tea house hike. That said, if it’s something you’d really love to do, you’re more than welcome to stay on at Lake Louise and make your own way back afterwards. Just let our team know and we’ll happily walk you through the best return options.
